42K Full Marathon
42.195 km through the heart of Austin. Our flagship championship course — closed roads, roaring cheer zones, and a finish-line festival worth every step.

The 42K full marathon starts at sunrise on Congress Avenue and winds through downtown Austin, across the river loop, and back to Marigold Mile Park. The course is USATF-certified, fully closed to traffic, and lined with 14 cheer zones hosted by local schools and running clubs.
Four pacer groups (3:30, 4:00, 4:30 and 5:00) led by head pacer Marcus Webb keep you honest from start to finish. Twelve aid stations serve water, electrolytes, energy gels, bananas, and medical support every 3 km.

Race-day schedule
- 5:00 AM — Bag drop and warm-up open at Marigold Mile Park
- 6:00 AM — 42K start, Congress Avenue (wave A elite, wave B open)
- 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM — Finish-line festival, meals, and awards
- 1:00 PM — Course closes (7-hour cut-off)
